NOUN

Noun-The word which is used as the name of a person place or thing is called a noun. There are different kinds of nouns they are as follow.
A common noun -a common noun is a name given to every person or thing of the same class.
Shivaji was a great king, Sita is a beautiful girl 
In the above sentences, king and girl are common nouns.
 
A proper noun is a name given to a particular person or place.
In the first two sentences, Shivaji and Sita are Proper nouns.
Collective noun -the name of number for a collection of a person or things are taken together are called collective noun.
Example -He gave me a bunch of grapes.
A committee of ten was appointed.
Bunch and committee are collective nouns
Abstract noun -the name of quality, action or state considered apart from the object which it belongs. Example -kindness laughter, childhood, thickness 

A concrete noun-noun you can see, hear. smell, touch or taste is called concrete noun. Examples-whale, music, smoke, radio.


Singular noun- noun that denotes one person or thing is said to be a singular noun example boy, hero, dynamo, baby
 
Plural noun -noun that denotes more than one person or thing is called plural noun example boys, heroes, dynamos, babies.

Verb is the word which is used to tell or assert something about some person. Examples-: Vinita laughs-noun does.  Divya is scolded - done with noun.  The mouse is dead  -what a person or place is. Types of verbs.  Transitive verb- verbs that demand object to make a sense. Examples-: Please bring tea. (without tea there would be no meaning)  The boy kicks the football.(football is necessary to make a sense) * When you can give the answer of what ,whom by making interrogative of that sentence then the word used in the sentence is transitive verb. Intransitive verbs -they do not require an object to act upon.  Example -: They jumped.  The dog ran. Meena sings .( there is no need of object).
