1) S Krishnan is appointed as MD and CEO of Punjab and Sind Bank, the former MD and CEO of Punjab and Sind Bank took voluntary retirement, prior to this Mr S Krishnan was the executive director at Canara Bank.

2) Indian Grandmaster P Iniyan won the prestigious online world open online chess tournament, this tournament held online due to the COVID-19 pandemic,120 players of 16 countries participated in this tournament in which 30 were Grandmasters

3) Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Shri Arjun Munda has said the ministry of Tribal Affairs is funding 26 tribal Research Institute for research. Research should collaborate with reputed Government and NGO, he said that research should focus on future goals of tribals and help to achieve the goal of"Mera Van Mera Dhan Mera uddyam".
 4)Larsen and Turbo( LNT) received orders from Indian ministry of defence for the supply of Pinaka, the contract ranges between rupees 1000 crore and 2500 crore. Pinaka is all-weather long-range area fire artillery.  Pinaka system was also supplied earlier to MOD(Ministry Of Defence).
5) Intensified diarrhoea control for night program is from 1st to 14th September, In this program, there is a free distribution of ORS and Zinc tablet. This is announced by Director of National Health Mission Nagaland, Dr Kevichiusa Medhikru.
International News.

6) Venice film festival opened on 2nd September  2020. This is Bollywood Industry's first international competition since the pandemic hit, 18 films compete for Golden lion. About 6000 are expected to present at the festival. 

7)Russian vaccine show sign of immune response, every participant developed antibodies to fight the virus and had no serious side effects, the participants were between age group 1 to 60, they were monitored for 42 days.
8)Trump said famed Mini military newspaper 'stars and stripes'  will not close, he also denies the claims that he mocked American War dead and also said that the American military is great military.
9)Former cricketer David carpel passed away, he played 15 test and 23 one day internationals for England from 198  to 1990, he has died after a long illness.
10) Italy-Prime Minister Berlusconi is in the hospital with early stage of double  Pneumonia, he is tested positive for coronavirus, he has had many messages of support since been diagnosed.

9 rules of Apostrophe(')

Apostrophe-A  punctuation mark  (')used to indicate either, possession, omission or how to make something plural is called apostrophe. Rules of apostrophe Rule1- the apostrophe is used with living noun to show its possession. Example -Mohan's book was stolen. John's laptop is very costly. Rule 2 -We can use an apostrophe with a non-living that is personified. Example-Sun's fury, mirror's dream, Earth's love.  Personification- it's the way to represent an object or feeling as if it is a person, basically, personification is done in the poem.   Rule 3 -Add apostrophe at the last of the plural noun which ends with s. The writers' novel, the girls' wardrobe.  Rule 4-Never use apostrophe with the possessive case. transitive and intransitive verbs

Verb is the word which is used to tell or assert something about some person. Examples-: Vinita laughs-noun does.  Divya is scolded - done with noun.  The mouse is dead  -what a person or place is. Types of verbs.  Transitive verb- verbs that demand object to make a sense. Examples-: Please bring tea. (without tea there would be no meaning)  The boy kicks the football.(football is necessary to make a sense) * When you can give the answer of what ,whom by making interrogative of that sentence then the word used in the sentence is transitive verb. Intransitive verbs -they do not require an object to act upon.  Example -: They jumped.  The dog ran. Meena sings .( there is no need of object).
